  2. Thanks guys.
Course is incredible, thick forests, relentless ups and downs, beautiful.
Rained the days leading right up to race day but just lighter rain later in the race. Trails were soaked but drain well and very little, if any standing water. Kegs of microbrew beer and BBQ after the race, belt buckle, cool age award, nice shirt, really well done event.

  3. Tim-Way to go! I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. I couldn't stick around after the race to see you finish due to my 'crew' having to get to the Brewer Game that afternoon. Looking forward to the fuller report!

  4. Hey nic. I looked all over for you after the race. Christine said she met you before your race started. Great run for you. Fast race.

  5. Yeah, we were standing on opposite sides of the course when you came through, and then I recognized her so I went over and introduced myself. Kicking myself I didn't make better arrangements to stick around longer afterwards. I saw 3rd place finish but no one after that. After looking at the results, you were only about 45 minutes later, and part of a good race as well!

  6. I loved the part in your race report when you talked about your HR, your connection with nature, your desire to date older women.

    Whoops. Wrong blog.

  8. Tim - careful...the post-race blog wording is supposed to be something like, "Really no post-race soreness. Some fatigue, but I could run if I wanted to." Keeps all us mere mortals off balance.

    Congrats on another solid race.

  9. Ha.
My body is fucked up from yesterday. I also caught a toe at mile 44 in full stride and went down face first. I don't sandbag and I don't say I feel fine when I don't. I jacked my ankle pretty good and feel similar to when I ran the Bear 100. Icing and Ibuprofen. The show goes on.

  10. Jim Petey - awesome call from the mortals.

Wait, do mortals read this blog?
