Gunnison Country Times Article on My Growlers and Sage Burner Events
Publisher, Chris Dickey, of the Gunnison Country Times ran a fast Sage Burner 50k on Monday and chatted with me after the race. When I told him I had done all three events over the Memorial Day weekend, he asked whether he could give me a call to do a piece for his paper. At my level of ability any exposure is a welcomed pleasure, so I appreciate the interest from Chris very much.

ReplyDeleteGood thing you were on VB at the time and someone could plant a seed about Sage Burner when you posted about registering for the Growler :). Leadman will be a piece of cake after last weekend; your confidence had to rise about 10 notches. Well done!
ReplyDeleteCool article. Chris is solid. I recall trying (and failing) to chase him down over the last couple miles of the 2011 San Juan Solstice. Got me by something like 10 seconds.
